What is the difference between the snowmobile GPS kits and the SXS GPS kits?

They are the same weatherproof GPS units, but each kit is specially fit to work with specific makes and models of snowmobile or SXS. We have installed thousands of units on all makes and models and guarantee fitment on all kits we sell.

Can you still open the glovebox on the skidoo gen4 and xs/xm with the extended glovebox?

Yes!

What if I don't see my make and model listed here?

Chances are we can still make something work. Don't hestitate to reach out!

What process is used to weatherproof these units?

We take new Garmin units and upgrade their factory sealing. The screen and outer case are separated, treated with a protective sealant, and reassembled to withstand the harsh conditions riders face—deep snow, freezing temps, and wet trails.

I do not have a battery, can I still use your GPS System?

Yes, we have a solution for this. Don't hesitate to reach out!

Are these units "Waterproof"

No. We consider it “weatherproof” they do not have any “IP” rating which suggests they can be submerged in water. They are simply sealed against elements (IE rain, snow, etc) but are not guaranteed to operate underwater or be safe after being submerged at any depth for any amount of time. We have used these units for years on end with the same process and they have probably seen 50 feet of snow fall on them over the years with no issues, but actual water pressure is a whole different ballgame.

Can I use the GPS on my ATV / SxS in the summer?

Absolutely! These units can be easily transferred between all your toys.
